Director of Social Media

I was the National Social Media Director for Gov. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate for President.

As the National Social Media Director, I managed all of the campaign's social media, which was broadcasted to over 3,200,000 people on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Tumblr, YouTube, the campaign blog, and other social media accounts. I was responsible for researching, editing, and ghostwriting every single one of Gov. Johnson's tweets, posts, and blog entries.

Gov. Johnson trended on Twitter nationally a number of times, due to a series of "Twitter bombs" that I carefully orchestrated. I also organized his AMA ("Ask Me Anything") sessions on Reddit, which resulted in Gov. Johnson's AMA becoming Reddit's top post: one of the most popular websites on the Internet.

In fact, a Forbes article on Gov. Johnson's social media wrote "Gary Johnson’s social media audience is significant . . . his following [on Google+] even outpaces Mitt Romney’s."

During my time as the National Social Media Director, Gov. Johnson's online presence doubled on nearly every social media platform. Ultimately, Gov. Johnson ended up receiving more votes than any other Libertarian Presidential candidate in history.
